Household Elf (Brownie Try-it)

The Household Elf Try-it is part of the “It's Your Planet - Love It!” badge set introduced in 2011.

For the badges released in 2011, scouts must complete all of the activities listed to earn the badge.

Activity #1: Save Energy[]

1) Be a Light Saver - for 1 week turn off all the lights not needed

or

2) go on an energy Scavenger hunt - look for thing to UN plug

or

3) find about 3 ways to use less energy - for example, change light bulbs, filters, etc.

1) use less water for bath or shower for 1 week

or

2) turn off the faucet when brushing your teeth for 1 week

or

3) Find 3 ways to save water

1) Make Natural cleaner

or

2) Make a Natural spray to use on plants, flower or vegetables

or

3) take your own reusable bags to the store

1)How much trash can you stash- see how much you and reduce your trash

or

2) Recycle plastics Bag

or

3) Donate Toys and Cloths

1) clean or replace air filter

or

2) Discover natural filter- Plants

or

3)make a natural air freshener
